CONFIRMED: U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions Ready to Take Office

We have a new Attorney General.

Despite stiff opposition from Democrats, the U.S. Senate has confirmed Senator Jeff Sessions to serve as this country’s highest law enforcement officer.

Lawmakers confirmed President Donald Trump’s choice by a vote of 52 to 47. Republicans stopped liberals’ attempt to filibuster.

Sen. Cory Booker not too long ago praised Sen. Sessions for civil rights work, then turned around and testified against him during confirmation hearings.

A few black men who know Sen. Sessions personally testified on his behalf and refuted accusations of racism against him.
