We blogged yesterday that President Donald Trump might meet with conservatives to sign a religious freedom executive order.
Sources reported the the president would sign the executive order today. The White House released the text of the order last night — a draft that reportedly leaked in February:

The Heritage Foundation’s Ryan Anderson, author of Truth Overruled: The Future of Marriage and Religious Freedom, doesn’t think the order goes far enough:
Yep. White House emailed this document around last night as well. If the EO ends up being this, it’ll be woefully inadequate. https://t.co/tXm3lj39eW

The standout for this writer is #3. One of conservatives’ objections to Obamacare is that it would violate the religious freedom of Americans who wanted no part of the contraceptive mandate, which directed employers to offer health plans that included drugs that could kill unborn babies.
The Supreme Court in the Hobby Lobby case ruled that forcing closely held corporations to comply with this mandate violated the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
