Sources reported that a man asked whether a group of lawmakers practicing baseball in Alexandria, Virginia, were Republicans or Democrats before shooting at them with a rifle.
One of the shots hit Rep. Steve Scalise, a Republican, and he’s been airlifted to a hospital. The man wounded others, including two Capitol Police officers.
The man apparently doesn’t like Republicans. Police said he’s in custody. The police shot and wounded him.
