In our country, a woman who doesn’t want her baby for whatever reason during the first trimester can go to an abortionist and have her living child scrapped or vacuumed from her womb. That child, a unique being with a soul and his own DNA, is sucked down a sink. Gone.
We call this progress and “reproductive choice.” It’s almost as sacred as “diversity.”
Hillary Clinton, who admitted that “every life matters,” believes that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” so more women can kill their own children.
“As I have said and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century and not just for women but for everyone — and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States,” Clinton said.
The unspoken target of such rhetoric is Christians. We must ignore what God calls sin, deny our faith, and get on the culture-of-death bandwagon to keep up with the times. God is eternal and requires perfect obedience (which is why we need a Savior), but because we’re in the 21st century, He’s irrelevant. I wish I could be a fly on wall when Hillary Clinton stands before the Judgment Seat.
From Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey:
“In one sense, this shows just how extreme the pro-abortion caucus actually is. As Hillary admits here — albeit unwittingly — the at-will destruction of the unborn goes against religious beliefs, long-held cultural values, and the structural ‘biases’ that exist to recognize the value of human life. That’s what the ‘clump of cells’ fallacy has to overcome, and as Hillary and the Left have discovered, it’s a tall order. And it’s not just abortion, but also same-sex marriage and forced participation in it, euthanasia dressed up as ‘right to die’ movements, and the rest.”
The fundamental issue is that Hillary Clinton – like Barack Obama – is ideologically aligned with cultural Marxism, and from the beginning in the 1920’s, their major target has been Christianity. Whether it’s the “Prison Notebooks” of Antonio Gramsci or the cultural terrorism of Georg Lukacs in Hungary or the pronouncements of various Frankfurt School luminaries, the primary target has been Christianity and the culture that it creates. Consider this quote of Karl Marx: “The biggest enemy to communism is Christianity.” And what about Hillary Clinton’s hero as a young adult, Saul Alinsky: “Separating sex from morality is the best way to make kids Marxists.”
However, this problem has two components: the attack on Christianity from outside the faith, and the erosion of belief and adoption of Leftist beliefs – that is, false narratives – from WITHIN the Christian church. So organizations such as C.U.R.E. that focus on pastors in the Black community are dealing with an extremely important problem. And as much effort as possible is needed to get a transformative message out to Christian schools around the country, which these days are largely dominated by so-called “progressive evangelicals”. Only God’s strength and power working through informed followers can make a difference.
