Shalom from Beautiful Denmark –
Though I may be on this short speaking tour northwest of my homeland, the reality is that it’s been a week of war for Israel. The difference this time is that our leaders and troops have the confidence to do what they need to do given the support of the current US administration. In light of this and the fact that Hamas is refusing to negotiate the hostages, our determination is higher than ever to put an end to this terrorist death cult that’s on the other side of the fence. More on this later.
Last week, after a long and exhausting day at work, I walked into the kitchen and found a freshly-arrived author’s copy of my latest book, “The Israel Decree.” Tears of joy streamed down my face at last! This is my most significant book for this critical moment in our history. And not just because of the terrorist attack of October 7, 2023 – but what followed. It took only a matter of hours for the world to begin sympathizing with Hamas. Unlike the response of the nations after the Holocaust, the masses began seeking to justify the attempted genocide on October 7. “From the river to the sea!”, and, “Free Palestine!” became the heralds of the nations.
The timeliness of this book is beyond profound, but not because of what I have to say – it’s because it reminds the reader of what God has already said. Remembering the promises of God in the most trying of circumstances reassures us that His promises stand and our future is sure. This reality is no different concerning the land and the people of Israel. This book is a simple, compact reminder of the past, present, and future of my beloved nation and people from the perspective of One who made the promises. News from Israel, the Region, and Beyond
The Homefront
The deep state in Israel doesn’t take a day off. Most recently, the Israeli Supreme Court froze the implementation of Israel’s government decision to fire the head of the Shin Bet, Ronen Bar, who is directly responsible for the October 7th disaster, until the court will hear the appeals against the move. Stalling the process to keep corrupt people in power remains the name of the game. Israel is currently undergoing an attempted coup d’état. Liberal, progressive, former generals, supported by the judiciary branch and fueled by the media, are plotting to overthrow Netanyahu.
The Israel-Hamas War
Though not as frequent due to its gradual depletion, Hamas continues to launch rockets into Israeli territory, most of which are intercepted. Believe me when I say, “You should see the other guy.” As Hamas issues its waning punches in the form of ineffective rockets, Israel is turning Gaza into rubble. Moreover, the IDF is continuing to kill the leaders of Hamas one by one. Any of those who remain today know it’s only a matter of time.
As I alluded to earlier, with Israel no longer being hindered by the US in its pursuit to eradicate Hamas, our soldiers are more mission minded than ever. Defense Minister Israel Katz left no curiosity on the table when he said, “I have instructed the IDF to seize additional territories in Gaza, while evacuating the population, and to expand the security zones around Gaza in order to protect Israeli communities and IDF soldiers. The more Hamas continues its refusal to release the hostages, the more territory it will lose to Israel.” Let me remind you this isn’t the first time our enemies have lashed out and lost land as a result.
Interestingly enough, according to a recent Gallup poll among Gazans, more than half of them are willing to leave the Gaza Strip either permanently or temporarily. Interesting days are ahead. One thing I know for sure, it’s refreshing to see the Israeli flag being hoisted in Gaza.
And don’t forget – Israel is continuing to attack Iranian proxies in Lebanon and Syria as well. And in the same period of time, we’re busy intercepting projectiles coming from the Houthis in Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Middle East never takes a holiday. Israeli strikes in Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza amounted to over 200 over the course of the weekend. Furthermore, the US continues to follow through with its determination to annihilate the Houthis in Yemen. You can see this mission materializing on nearly a daily basis as US forces eliminate multiple Houthi leaders and strategic sites.
Tune in to my most recent Breaking News Update regarding the massive strikes the US is preparing and Israel’s motion to eradicate Hamas.
P.S. We’re not responsible for the JFK assassination. So…yeah…time to put that to rest.
Turkey’s Internal Feud
Erdogan has been up to…well…usual Erdogan things. This time, he had his political opponent, Ekrem Imamoglu, arrested, which resulted in mass protests throughout the country (primarily Istanbul). The hostility in Turkey has increased to the point where other countries are calling for their citizens to leave immediately. Sinking to a new low, the regime released Al-Qaeda terrorists into the streets to clash with the protestors. There’s one question that’s worth asking – is the fall of Erdogan’s regime on the horizon?
Despite Erdogan’s internal issues, Israel is bracing for confrontation with the Turkish military in Syria – a land vacuum that’s been eyed by Turkey for a while now.
Bear in mind that you can review what I’ve mentioned here in far more details in our most recent MidEast & Beyond Update pertaining to Turkey, Syria, Israel, and more.
In all of what’s been mentioned here, we’re monitoring the situation in Iran. The last thing the ayatollahs should be feeling right now is safe.
Antisemitism Among the Nations
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum officially recognized Palestine as a state last week and welcomed the non-existent country’s ambassador for a visit. It’s only fair for me to assume she’ll be willing to take several thousand Gazan’s into her country as they look to relocate in the months ahead, right?
In what’s not really a surprising move, the Arab League leaders have demanded a complete halt to all military and economic collaboration with Israel.
As has been the case for some time and is showing itself to be all the truer in the days we live, Europe is becoming less and less safe for Jews. While this reality takes several forms, in shocking footage, Rabbi Aryeh Engelberg, 45, Chief Rabbi of Orléans, France, was brutally assaulted in broad daylight—right in front of his son—as they walked home from synagogue on Saturday. The attack was carried out by Muslim immigrants.
Despite the world’s animosity and hatred towards the Jewish people that continues to be one of the few constants left, my assurance of what’s to come is unshaken because I know that what was promised to the prophet Micah over 2,000 years ago stands the test of time up to this very moment:
Malachi 3:6
“For I am the Lord, I do not change;
Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”
