Neil Cavuto of Fox News doesn’t like President Donald Trump’s tweets. He asked Ken Blackwell whether the president goes too far when off-topic.
A former domestic policy adviser on President Trump’s transition team, Blackwell admitted that the off-topic tweets are an unwanted distraction but said we’re not going to stop President Trump from tweeting. He’s found a medium where he can speak directly to supporters as well as a broad cross section of the country.
We have to stick to the agenda, however, and Blackwell talked about a positive accomplishment: an uptick in household incomes since January.
Blackwell’s point is that “Trump will be Trump,” and let’s help him understand the positives and keep pushing forward with sustained economic growth.
President Trump’s Tweets
I appreciate his Tweet’s even when they appear to be off-topic. To me, it is refreshing to see that he is man true to his word – he does not cater to the ‘political’ speak that we, as a nation, have been subjected to for well over the past 8+ years. In comparison, the politicos and MSM have been “talking loud and saying nothing” (an old James Brown song).
President Trump’s tweets are, in my mind, akin to Roosevelt’s Fireside Chats, only without the hype. If we had an election today, I would vote for him again. Via his tweets he is being transparent with the citizens of this Nation. By his tweets, he is accountable to his words, whether right or wrong, agree or disagree. I appreciate and respect his candor – he is in a position that no matter what he does, those who are fearful of being exposed will continue to stir up something to keep his supporters confused (if possible with the help of MSM).
It is time for the public to wake up out of their drugged sleep from, especially the past eight years. As a teacher, I am always telling my students that I already know what they know/don’t know and that is very easy to deceive them because they don’t want to take the time to read/research for themselves. They are more than willing to allow someoone else to tell them what they should know. I tell them that if I don’t like them and don’t want them to succeed I can lie to them and they will never know the dfference because they don’t want to take responsibility for the development of their minds. I am trying to get them to become curious about what they are being told. I want them to challenge me, and explain why they have come to the conclusions they have reached. Unfortunately, very few rise to that challenge. This is, in my opinion, the mindset of the rabblerousers today, especially those on college campuses. They are the “useful idiots” Lenin spoke about (including the MSM).
In the Communist Take-over of America: 45 Declared Goals (Congressional Record, 1963) “The Naked Communist”/Congressional Record – Appendix, pp A34-35 [January 10, 1963] Cleon Skousen, the following goals are specifically stated:
12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party
13. Do away with all loyalty oaths
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV and motion pictures.

Proud to be a Deplorable.
Good treatise. One exception to note. The ongoing dismantling of America, through this ‘culture war,’ was begun, not 8+ years ago, fifty-odd years ago!
Good point and I’m aware. However, in my opinion, it has been during the past 8+ years that the rhetoric has been more apparent with the former president’s regime. Any policy enacted was done, whether beneficial to the whole citizenry or not, without much objection, due to fear of being called ‘racist’ or the other inflammatory names.
I appreciate President Trump’s TWEETS. And, he turns out to be right. I, too, would vote for him again.
May God have mercy on our country.
It seems so strange that the only people who want him to stop Tweeting are those: on the Left, in Main Stream Media or in the Dark State. You can generate your own score card to figure out where everyone’s heart is just by their comments on his Tweets.
How refreshing to have someone who actually does what they say they will do!
