Hypocritical Leftists Won’t Condemn Islamic Terrorists Yet Demand That Israel STOP Defending Itself

You’d think that there are some events so horrific that we can all agree on a response, Star Parker said on Straight Arrow News.

But the Islamic terrorist attack against Israel apparently is not one of them.

Thousands of demonstrators recently descended on the U.S. Capitol and called for a ceasefire in Israel’s defense against the Hamas terrorist attack.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib spoke at this demonstration and spread false information about Israel bombing a hospital in Gaza. But Hamas bombed the hospital. She hasn’t retracted these false claims or spoken out against the Hamas attack. Even the New York Times admitted they got the information wrong.

“There are those who are so fundamentally against Israel, that they will readily side with a terrorist group, even in our country,” Star said. “Let’s be clear: Israel is the only democratic nation in the Middle East. And it was an international decision to open the Jewish state there in 1948. It is a beacon of freedom and a strong ally of the United States. For those who value democracy and a rule of law, Israel represents a rare and crucial example of determination, grit, tradition, prosperity, in a region fraught with instability.”

The U.S. and the European Union recognize Hamas as a terrorist group. Hamas openly calls for Israel’s destruction, and the group’s sponsor, Iran, openly calls for ours.
