Liberal Politicians’ Hate-the-Rich, Tax-the-Rich Strategy Might Backfire in 2020

Wealthy leftist politicians supposedly hate other wealthy people, and they push tax hikes for “the rich.” Their audiences love to hear this. “The rich” are the problem in this country…not the millions of illegal aliens.

Tax the rich and big corporations! But who will leftist politicians count on to finance their election campaigns?

Blaze TV’s Deneen Borelli calls this disdain for wealthy Americans and big business class warfare. It’s a “sad and desperate effort to divide the nation across incomes.”

They are the divide-and-conquer party, she added. They already use race as a wedge, and now they’re using wealth. “Give free stuff to some, and make the rich pay for it.” Their war on the wealthy and business “will be a war on hard-working Americans and the economy.” High taxes? Less money for businesses to create jobs to employ Americans. Ironically, people in high-tax states are fleeing to lower-tax red states.

Will all of this converge to help re-elect President Donald Trump? Watch the brief clip to hear Borelli’s take.

  1. If these wealth leftists really cared they would donate there wealth to organizations in need. But of course like O’Rourke the high roller contributing .0054% of his earnings t charity – what a stand up guy. Warren and Brenie are also multi millionaires and now attack billionaires. Wonder what AOC will do now that she has hustled a million of her own in such a short time.

  2. Los Angeles County has some of the nation’s wealthiest residents. Unfortunately, they are among the least likely to contribute to charitable organizations.

  3. I do love so love Dereen Borelli because she truly understands the reality of politics and full of bovine fecal mater the Democrats are full of! She has such a command of the English langue that she puts a smile on my face everytime I listen to her. The great British courtier, wit and general observer of the human condition Sir John Harington (baptized 4 August 1560 – died 20 November 1612), once observed “Treason doth never prosper. What’s the reason? Why if it prosper, none dare call it treason.”
