This Mother and Sexual Assault Survivor Said the School District’s ‘Transgender Bathroom’ Policy Does NOT Protect Girls

The Virginia Beach School Board passed a policy that allows boys pretending to be girls to use the girls’ restrooms and changing rooms and play on girls’ sports teams. The policy also requires students and teachers to go along with the pretense and call boys “she,” and vice versa.

Robin Blanchard, a concerned mother from Virginia Beach featured in the video below, said she survived sexual assault at the age of 15 “because of a policy very much like this one.” She said she was horrified that the school is setting up girls to be assaulted like she was. The policy provides so-called protections for “transgender” students, but it does not protect girls.

“What about transgender teachers,” she asked. “Do they get to go in the bathrooms, too?”

Blanchard said she’s spent her entire parenthood trying to protect her two daughters from what she endured. And she wasn’t done. Blanchard proposed a solution to all of this nonsense. Watch the clip for more.

  1. This lady is correct. Glad she stood up and said that. Seems we have gotten to far from God in this country. Luke 17:2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

  2. Very well stated. We have to fight back together!
