If you’d told someone 10 years ago that a sports channel would celebrate a man as a “woman” during a women’s history month, that person would have told you to take your meds.
Now, it’s a mere fact of life. Corporate media has given itself over to the absurd and the demeaning. People will look back on this collective insanity some day and condemn us.
ESPN on Sunday honored a man calling himself Lia Thomas during a segment called “Celebrating Women’s History.” Thomas, who is pretending to be a woman, won the women’s NCAA swimming championship after easily between the women in the 500-yard freestyle race. He threw the 200-yard and 100-yard races and allowed the women to win.
Former University of Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines tied in 5th place with Thomas for the 200-meter freestyle race. Gaines and the other women also shared a locker room with him. Now spokesperson for the Independent Women’s Forum, Gaines has been very vocal against this “transgender” trend that cheats women of their victories.
“Lia Thomas is not a brave, courageous woman who EARNED a national title,” she wrote on Twitter. “He is an arrogant, cheat who STOLE a national title from a hardworking, deserving woman. The @ncaa is responsible. If I was a woman working at ESPN, I would walk out. You’re spineless @espn.”
Gaines called for a boycott against ESPN.
The only thing better than all of us openly opposing this cheating is for the women to boycott these races.
I’m so overjoyed to see more and more people feeling comfortable in publicly acknowledging how harmful the gender ideology propaganda being pushed really is (especially to women and children).
