California’s AG Wants Women to Have the Choice to Kill Unborn Babies — But Not to Save Them?

Taking progesterone could stop a chemical abortion, reversing the killing process and saving an unborn baby’s life.

New York’s attorney general Letitia James went after pro-life pregnancy centers to suppress this information. Her leftist counterpart in California, Rob Bonta, is doing the same in California. Bonta sued Heartbeat International and RealOptions Obria Medical Clinics for publishing information about reversing abortions.

Knowing they would be in Bonta’s crosshairs soon enough, the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates and SCV Pregnancy Center in Santa Clarita, filed a lawsuit against him.

Liberty Counsel recently filed an amicus brief in National Institute of Family and Life Advocates v. Bonta. An excerpt:

In the brief, Liberty Counsel noted the context makes clear that AG Bonta rejects pro-life speech related to saving unborn children and conveys a message that because most women allegedly do not regret their abortions, then none of his constituents should have the choice to reverse an abortion, wrote Liberty Counsel.

As Liberty Counsel noted, Bonta supports women having the choice to kill their unborn children by poisoning them but apparently opposes pregnancy centers giving women information that could save them.

“That unconstitutional dichotomy is plainly viewpoint discrimination and violates the First Amendment,” Liberty Counsel wrote in the brief.
