We’re still reading about the reeling Democrats, shocked that President-elect Donald Trump not only won the presidency but also won the popular vote. He swept the seven swing states. Republicans maintained control of the House and regained control of the Senate.
Leftists will be debating the hows and whys for years to come.
Star Parker said on Straight Arrow News that Senator Bernie Sanders believes the Democrats have abandoned the working class and “failed to tackle wage inequality and costly health care.” Inflation and illegal immigration were high on voters’ lists of things they did not like about the Biden-Harris administration.
Fareed Zakara, a CNN host, rebuked his party for misreading public opinion on these issues, including lawfare against Trump and identity politics.
“Democrats need to make a course correction if they want to regain any type of support from the American people,” Star said.
President-elect Trump and the Republicans have a great opportunity to fix the problems.
