Solutions for Saving Our Country: Educational Freedom — Watch CURE America with Star Parker

This week on CURE America with Star Parker, you’ll watch a clip from the Center for Urban Renewal and Education’s (CURE) National Policy Summits. Held annually for more than a decade, the summit is made possible by the generosity of donors from across our great nation and reflects the culmination of our work each year to advance messages of faith, freedom, and personal responsibility.

“What ails us, as a society, is the fact that we are falling away from God,” said former Attorney General of the United States, William Barr, at CURE’s annual National Policy Summit this week in Washington, D.C. The three-day event brought together some of the nation’s top policy leaders with more than 60 pastors from all over the country who are part of CURE’s clergy network. At the summit, these faith leaders learned about key policy issues, collaborated with fellow pastors, and were equipped to take the solutions back to their churches and communities.

In this week’s episode, we highlight some wonderful parts of the summit focused on choice in education, getting our children out of government-run, union-controlled schools into those that reflect the values of their parents. We feature Attorney General Barr’s remarks as well as part of our panel discussion on Educational Freedom with Michael Benjamin of American Federation for Children, Francesca Fontenot, and former NFL great and CURE board member, Jack Brewer. Some of our pastors also share their experiences at the summit.

Educational choice is just one of the many topics we addressed at CURE’s National Policy Summit and we will be bringing you more in the following weeks on issues like police reform, homelessness, and abortion. Please stay tuned for more powerful presentations.
