In this Friday final segment of Star Parker’s stint as guest host for Rick Amato, she speaks with a panel of guests: BCN contributor Marc Little, media analyst Jay Jones, columnist and “liberal activist” Jonathan Harris, and Project 21 co-chair Horace Cooper.
Star and the guests discuss why black Americans have fallen behind under America’s first biracial president. The discussion was lively!
RE; poll on Dr. Ben Carson’s presidential bid. My vote was a no, but it isn’t because I don’t think he would be a good potential President. I’m sorry to say it’s because of his race. The obama presidency has proven to me that America isn’t ready for a minority or female president. And I regret having to say that because I think there are many excellent potential black candidates but unfortunately for America, we just can’t seem to get past the race issue. But I do feel that their time will come and when that happens, we will be a better country for it.
could it not be race, but policies and positions?
I hope I’m not being guilty of “stereotyping,” when I say: ‘why would I have thought the one liberal on Star’s panel was the individual with the out-of-sorts hair style?
What is that conservative(?) thought: “If you’re not a liberal when you’re 25, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative by the time you’re 35, you have no brain.”
Enjoy most anything Star presents!
I believe Star should have her own show, doggone she is so good and smart.
Star Parker isn’t a good host. She repeatedly attempts to build a fire between the show’s guests that is not there. She also gives her own opinions where not needed.
