The black voter featured in this video clip (at a Trump rally) said a black friend asked him about President Donald Trump’s policies. He mentioned the low unemployment rate under President Trump. The friend didn’t know.
But everybody’s heard about how “racist” the president is.
The man said before he joined the #WalkAway movement, he voted based on the candidate’s personality. Not anymore. “Nice” can be tricky, he said. Now he bases his choices on policy. He said this election is too important.
Black Americans, who give 90 percent of their vote to the Democrats, will vote against their own interests in 2020. But not this black voter:
