Fox News interviewed Sheriff David Clarke shortly after the U.S. Department of Justice released its findings on Ferguson. No doubt the sheriff will appear again soon to comment on the shooting of two police officers last night during a “peaceful” Ferguson protest. I’ll post the video as soon as it’s up.
The department found no racial bias in Michael Brown’s shooting but claims there’s racial bias in the Ferguson police department. Sheriff Clarke called it Eric Holder’s witch hunt.
“He has had Ferguson, Missouri, in his crosshairs ever since the Mike Brown and Officer Darren Wilson tragic situation occurred. He did not have an open mind. He had a predetermined mindset going into this investigation…I’m not buying one word of his conclusion here.”
Sheriff Clarke reminded us that Holder is the only U.S. Attorney General in the history of the Department of Justice to be held in contempt of Congress. He failed to provide reports it needed for the Fast and Furious investigation. Hypocritically, Holder went to Ferguson demanding reports.
Sheriff Clarke added that if he’d been chief of police when Holder made those demands…well, listen for yourselves.
