1. Tax Bill to stimulate the economy and reduce burdens on businesses to create jobs. Who doesn’t want MORE of this?

2. Opportunity Zones to encourage investment and development within 8,700 distressed zip codes across the country.

3. Trump signed the First Step Act into law in 2018. As a conservative, do you support criminal justice reform to address fairness in sentencing and reduction in recidivism rates of former prisoners at the federal level?

4. You know what black Americans should be pleased about? Trump designated Camp Nelson as a national monument to recognize participation of the slaves in the Union Army during the Civil War.

5. Trump signed the Build Act to expand investments into various countries comprising the continent of Africa.

6. Trump announced that the U.S. would move its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, recognizing the Eternal City as the capital of Israel and positioning Palestinians to reorganize their priorities.

7. Trump expanded religious liberty protections in the federal government; religious liberty officials in each department with faith-based agencies.

8. Trump issued an executive order to maintain oversight of each department with anti-poverty budgets.

9. Trump appointed constitutional judges to federal benches to quantify equal treatment under the law.

10. Under Trump, Veterans Affairs made changes for vets to have access to medical specialists.

11. Trump signed a bill to bail out historically black colleges and universities to secure solvency and opportunity to refocus and build priorities.

In 2017, while chairman of the House Subcommittee on Health of Energy and Commerce, Congressman Burgess got an authorization bill out of committee and the House passed it; the Senate took it up in Oct. 2018, and Trump signed the first stand-alone bill authorizing sickle cell disease research in years. One of the witnesses from the advocacy group said the FDA had not approved a new sickle cell drug in 40 years.
