Will the Boycott Against Target Over ‘Transgender’ Restroom Policy Have An Impact?

In response to North Carolina’s law that bars men pretending to be women from using women’s restrooms in government buildings, including schools, Target decided to alienate certain customers and allow such men to walk right into women’s restrooms and fitting rooms in their stores nationwide.

The American Family Association (AFA) started a petition to boycott the stores, and over 500,000 people (at the time of publication) have signed so far.

Leftist corporations, politicians, and “celebrities” vowed to boycott North Carolina after Gov. Pat McCrory signed the so-called bathroom bill. Some of these companies and people do business and perform in countries where practicing homosexuality is a jailable offense.

“Target’s policy is exactly how sexual predators get access to their victims,” AFA president Tim Wildmon said. “And with Target publicly boasting that men can enter women’s bathrooms, where do you think predators are going to go. Clearly, Target’s new policy poses a danger to wives and daughters. We think many customers will agree. And we think the average Target customer is willing to pledge to boycott Target stores until it makes protecting women and children a priority.”

This push by the homosexual lobby isn’t about “rights” or “unisex” restrooms or restrooms at all. It’s about shocking the sensibilities of people who oppose this lifestyle. It’s about trying to use the power of government to normalize deviancy and to shut down dissent.
