Sheriff David Clarke’s Message to #NeverTrump Voters

On Twitter last week, Sen. Elizabeth Warren called Donald Trump a racist, sexist, and xenophobe. When CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Hillary Clinton whether she agreed, she said this:

“I think Elizabeth Warren’s really smart. I’m going to let people judge for themselves, but I have the highest regard for Sen. Warren.”

Sheriff David Clarke of Milwaukee County recently appeared on Fox News to speak his mind about Clinton’s response and other people’s implications that Trump is a racist. In Clinton’s case, the sheriff called it “a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black.”

The sheriff noted that Clinton received Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger award. Sanger supported eugenics. He reminded viewers that the Democratic party stood in the way of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Lincoln trying to free the slaves.

“So her party has a history of racism. And so I’m not going to sit up here and be lectured by Mrs. Bill Clinton, about who is a racist or who is not a racist.”

Sheriff Clarke calls it “political suicide” for anti-Trump Republicans to talk about sitting out the election if he gets the GOP nomination and allowing Clinton to serve for four years. Like it or not, he said, Trump connected with voters more than the other candidates.

“I say, don’t get upset with Donald Trump. Get upset with your candidate who could not connect with the voters to win this nomination.”

Sheriff Clarke said Trump has to convince people to vote for him, and he’s not calling for anyone to vote for Trump. But he has some advice for #NeverTrump voters on what they should be saying. Watch the brief clip.

  1. Margaret Sanger was one of the women on the list to be considered to have her portrait on our paper money.

The democrats love everything she stood for. Here in her own words is what Ms. Sanger thought about black people. It amazes me that most African Americans still blindly follow the democrat party.

“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.” Margaret Sanger.

  2. In the years since this country was created, men and women in uniform and out, overseas and here at home, have marched and fought and bled and died to get and secure the right to vote. The next time you see, hear or read about someone not planning to vote, call them out. Yes — they have the right to stay home. But to feel good about doing so? HELL NO!
