Democratic Candidates Didn’t Praise Abortion at the Debate — And Planned Parenthood Didn’t Like It

Sources reported that CNN moderators didn’t ask the Democratic president candidates any questions about abortion. Senator Kamala Harris berated Senator Joe Biden for changing his mind about the Hyde Amendment, the federal law that bars federal dollars from paying for abortions, except in cases of rape and incest.

“[Y]ou made a decision for years to withhold resources to poor women to have access to reproductive health care, and, including women who were the victims of rape and incest,” Sen. Harris said to him. “Do you now say that you have evolved and you regret that? Because you’ve only since you’ve been running for president this time said that you in some way would take that back or you didn’t agree with that decision you made for many, many years…”

Sen. Biden used to support the federal law. Now he doesn’t. He said he supported Hyde in the past because women who didn’t want their unborn babies had access to other private services.

But Planned Parenthood and other abortion advocates didn’t like the scanty coverage of abortion.

“Voters need to know what candidates will do to protect their reproductive health care — yet tonight all they got was deafening silence,” acting president Alexis McGill Johnson said. “We’re talking about our health, our rights, our futures. We can, and we must, do better.”

  1. The Dems may be sensing that their radical view of abortion is a loser – which would explain why they’re trying to bury it under terms like “reproductive health care.” Sorry, guys, it won’t work with me.

  2. Kamala needs to be sent packing referring to killing a person in the mothers womb as reproductive health care.
She’s just a disgusting old harlot.
