Gov. Ron DeSantis Just Signed a Bill That Protects Parents’ Rights — And Leftists HATE It

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida has signed a bill into law that the left hates. HB 1557, Parental Rights in Education, bans schools from teaching sexual orientation and “gender identity” to children in pre-K through third grade. Under the law, schools are barred from withholding information about a student’s emotional, mental, or physical health from parents.

Sounds like common sense? Not under the leftists’ regime. They seek to indoctrinate children and undermine parents’ authority. Get ’em while they’re young.

Parents who oppose this can take their children out of government schools and elect people who will outlaw this indoctrination. Some opponents of so-called sex education in schools call it grooming. Leftists refer to the measure as the “Don’t Say Gay” law. That tells you all you need to know about what’s really going on.

Quisha King is a mother who spoke against CRT at a school board meeting in Florida last year. According to this once-fringe Marxist theory, individuals are considered the oppressed or the oppressor, depending on their race.

“That is not teaching the truth,” King said, “unless you believe whites are better than blacks.” King, the executive director of Moms for America, recently appeared on Fox News to share her opinion about measures like Florida’s  new law.

Schools aren’t considering parents when making these changes, King said. Schools are trying to take control of our children.

“I do not understand why teachers or administrators would come out so strongly against something simple as saying we don’t want sexual identity and gender identity to be taught to kids as young as four and five years old.”

  1. “[CRT] is not teaching the truth, unless you believe whites are better than blacks.” — Quisha King

This is a powerful statement. While CRT breathlessly prattles on about white supremacy is, it ignores the fact that it assumes whites to be a “superior race.”
