Another Black Parent Goes Off About ‘Critical Race Theory’

According to so-called critical race theory (CRT), the United States is a fundamentally racist country, and people are inferior or superior to others based on race, ethnicity, sex or religion. Individuals, by virtue of their race, ethnicity, sex or religion, are inherently responsible for the actions their ancestors committed.

A black mother who opposes the teaching of CRT in schools recently spoke at a school board meeting. Quisha King called CRT dangerous. “I don’t know about you, but telling my child or any child that they are in a permanent oppressed status in America because they are black is racist, and saying that white people are automatically above me, my children, or any child is racist as well.”

Another black parent, Ty Smith, hosts a weekend radio show in Illinois, and he told a school board exactly what he thinks of CRT. He said CRT “pretty much” teaches kids to hate and dislike each other. When you teach black children that white children have it better than they do because of their race, that is what happens. Smith illustrated the point. When he was in third grade, he was on welfare and received free lunch. The school allowed the students who bought lunch or brought lunch from home to get in line first. Being treated differently made an impression on Smith. He was friends with some of the kids who went first and began disassociating himself with them. He also hated his home life.

“I’m mad at them for something that’s not even their fault,” he said. “The fact that I was in the third grade and able to piece that together…I conjured up my own perceptions of what my friends were. They weren’t looking down on me. They didn’t think they were better than me. I’m the one who came up with those false perceptions of what my friends were.”

Smith said he has two medical degrees. He had no mother or father in the house, and he worked his way through school. And the government wants to teach black kids that white people will keep them from doing the same? Watch the full clip below:

  1. I refuse to believe that Critical Race Theory will make White kids hate their skin color.

    • CRT will make them hate your skin color!
CRT is already making their parents dislike other colors.
CRT has Nothing to do with Character.

    • WOW, really? do you even know what they are teaching and the way they are teaching it? I’m guessing you don’t. In any case CRT is nothing more then an attempt at trying to look like it’s “teaching” when in fact it’s RACIST with a capital R.
