Sen. Ted Cruz appeared with his wife and two daughters last night at a town hall event on CNN.
A member of the audience asked Heidi Cruz about the issues she’d focus on if she became First Lady.
One cause that’s “near and dear” to her and her husband’s hearts was school choice. She said it’s perhaps one of the most important issues in the country for kids, and she’d work “very hard to ensure every child in this country had a fair and equal opportunity at a quality education.”
