Montana Protects Girls and Women – Gov. Gianforte Signs Bills Banning Boys and Men from Their Facilities

Thank the Lord for red state governors! They’re the only ones protecting girls and women from the fetishes of boys and men who seem determined to violate their privacy and undermine their safety.

Montana is the latest state to enact common sense laws. Common sense shouldn’t have to be legislated, but leftists leave us no choice.

Governor Greg Gianforte recently signed two bills into law: one requires the state to keep men out of women-only spaces in government schools, prisons, government buildings, and domestic violence shelters, and the other bars boys and men from playing on girls’ and women’s sports teams.

“Montana is right to protect the privacy, safety, and dignity of women and girls, and to ensure that female athletes of all ages continue to have a fair and level playing field,” said Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) attorney Matt Sharp. “Letting men intrude into women’s spaces and on their sports teams is an invasion of privacy, a threat to their safety, and a denial of the real biological differences between the sexes.”

ADF is a legal firm that represents women fighting for their privacy and safety and fair competition in sports.

Gov. Gianforte said that a man shouldn’t be in women’s restrooms, shower rooms, or prisons.

“Today, we’re maintaining equal opportunity for all Americans, while also protecting women and girls and their right to safe and separate facilities and activities,” he said.

Riley Gaines, who had to compete against a man in the 2022 NCAA swimming championship, testified at a congressional hearing that some women changed in a janitor’s closet to avoid changing in front of the man.

Gaines said she was glad to support Montana’s sports bill through her testimony.

“Under Governor Gianforte’s leadership, Montana has prioritized the preservation of women’s safety and opportunities whether it be in athletics or in single-sex spaces. The legislature’s passage of House Bill 121 and House Bill 300 sends a clear message that the legislature and the Gianforte administration stand with over half a million Montana women and girls.”

We must protect the privacy of girls and women! Join us in this fight and help spread the word.
