Online for Life to Host Historic Pro-Life Prayer Gathering

pro-abortion rallyOn January 21, 2015, Online for Life along with The Radiance Foundation and Bound for Life will host OneVoiceDC, the first ever non-denominational prayer and worship event at the 42nd annual March for Life. The event will begin at 7:00 PM at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Washington, DC.

Each year since Roe v. Wade, the March for Life brings hundreds of thousands of pro-life advocates from around the country to the nation’s capital. Although initially the March primarily gathered Catholics, it has more recently focused on reaching evangelicals. The OneVoiceDC prayer event will provide a spiritually rich environment for all believers to worship and pray toward the ending of abortion in America. We are pleased to have so many participating organizations including Students for Life, 40 Days for Life, the Family Research Council, Concerned Women for America, the National Black Pro-life Coalition, Americans United for Life and others.

OFL’s president Brian Fisher explains the reason for the event this way: “The culture of death and abortion in America is primarily a spiritual condition. Prayer, therefore, is our primary act in the effort to end abortion in America. I can’t wait to see how God answers the prayers of His people at OneVoiceDC. Hearts will be changed, babies will be rescued, and families will be restored.”

The OneVoiceDC prayer rally will also be the first event in 2015 where OFL will publicly promote the newest version of the Online for Life Prayer App. The app is designed to engage Christians throughout the country in targeted prayer for women who are contemplating an abortion by allowing individuals to pray in real time for those who contact our call center. “We have seen God do amazing things through the prayers of believers,” says Rev. Sean Martin, Senior Director of Multiply Life, the church outreach of Online for Life.

The app has several features including one, which allows organizations to set up their own prayer group and track the impact of their prayers. The feature also allows these groups to brand themselves with their own logo and easily connect with members.

Join us today by downloading the app to pray for women in need. Or text PRAY to 95577.
