Planned Parenthood Sues Pro-Lifer — And His Response Might Surprise You

If you can’t shut down your opponent after he exposed what you do behind closed doors, obfuscate and haul him into court.

Planned Parenthood, the place where women go to kill their inconvenient unborn babies, was caught last year discussing and haggling the sale of aborted-baby body parts. The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) sent undercover operatives inside Planned Parenthood to pose as tissue buyers. The sting also revealed the casual manner in which the lab workers and the executives went about the jobs, which might include breaking the law. 

For instance, one of Planned Parenthood’s abortionist’s described how she kills babies for intact body parts, and it sounded like she admitted doing illegal partial birth abortions.

One doctor working for the abortion mill boasted about about their wares. “Everything we provide is fresh,” she said. “Obviously, we would have the potential for a huge P.R. issue in doing this.”

Holly O’Donnell, a former procurement technician with StemExpress, the tissue research company that severed its relationship with Planned Parenthood after the sting, described what goes on in the clinics:

“Jessica” called O’Donnell over and told her she wanted her to “see something kinda cool. It’s kinda neat!”

O’Donnell looked down, “flabbergasted,” at an intact aborted baby. A boy. The woman taps the baby’s heart, and it begins to beat. “It had a face,” O’Donnell said. “It wasn’t completely torn up. And its nose was very pronounced. It had eyelids and its mouth was pronounced. And then, since the fetus was so intact, [Jessica] said, (emphasis added) “Okay, this is a really good fetus and it looks like we can procure a lot from it. We’re going to procure a brain.”

Oh, wow! Isn’t that awesome? What happens to the minds of people who do this for a living?

According to O’Donnell, the woman cut through the baby boy’s lower jaw and into his face with scissors, and then told O’Donnell to finish the process so she could take the brain.

There’s a lot more. 

Planned Parenthood at first apologized for the “tone” of one of the doctors, then claimed the videos were “doctored” to make the organization look bad, as if slaughtering the unborn weren’t enough. Now the organization that kills unborn babies has named the CMP, director Dan Daleiden, and Operation Rescue’s Troy Newman in a lawsuit.

Dawn Laguens, the abortion mill’s executive vice president, said, “The people behind this fraud lied and broke the law in order to spread malicious lies about Planned Parenthood. This lawsuit exposes the elaborate, illegal conspiracy designed to block women’s access to safe and legal abortion.”

Planned Parenthood contends that the pro-lifers who exposed its horrible practices engaged in “wire fraud, mail fraud, invasion of privacy, illegal secret recording and trespassing.”

Filing a lawsuit opens Planned Parenthood to the process called discovery, and worse revelations could emerge.

Daleiden likely expected to be sued. “Game on,” he wrote in an e-mail. “I look forward to taking the depositions of all the Planned Parenthood CEOs who profited off of their business relationship with StemExpress.”

CMP’s undercover sting reignited the push to block tax dollars from going to Planned Parenthood.
