The Leftists Who Cried White Supremacy

The word “racism” has become meaningless. Thank you, liberalism. Just blame everything and anything on it. Being accused of being a racist is the worst thing someone can be called these days…well, maybe a “black Republican.” Gasp! Is there really such a thing? (Frederick Douglass had no problem with it. Neither do I.)

Charlottesville has taught us one thing. Oh, wait. I’m not sure it has.

ESPN, the network that thought it was a good idea to remove an Asian sports commentator from the line-up because his name is Robert Lee (you know, because the Confederacy), has an identity disorder. They’re a trans-network. Yup. They originally identified as a sports channel but now identify as a leftist political echo chamber.

ESPN’s Jemele Hill knows she is in a safe space at the Disney-owned network. Yes, sports and politics have always been enmeshed, but never this one-sided or so nasty and ignorant. So, like every other liberal who cannot deal with a Trump presidency, she used the same verbal ammunition—he’s a white supremacist! Never mind, people like Hill can’t ever provide any actual evidence. Who needs evidence or any credibility when you have an entire mainstream media joining you in the disturbing psychosis I’ve labeled C.R.E.D., Cry Racism Every Day.

I’m no apologist for President Trump—but am eternally grateful that the What Happened politician, who has perfected the art of pandering, isn’t the Commander-in-Chief. Of course, Hillary Clinton wouldn’t be any evidence of “white supremacy” because she’s the wife of the first black president, William Jefferson Clinton, right Toni Morrison?

I hate racism. We are one human race. I can’t say it enough. As an American with very brown skin, I’ve experienced many moments of racism throughout my life. But I refuse to be defined or diminished by any of it. Throughout this country’s history, people of my complexion faced far worse circumstances than being an overpaid NFL athlete (hello Colin Kaepernick) or a sports “journalist.” However, in the Land of First World Problems, their lives are in an imaginary danger from [insert shiver] white supremacy.

Jemele Hill’s infamous tweets just make the charge of racism ludicrous: “Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period.” She called him a “white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself with other white supremacists.” ESPN issued a tepid apology. They never would have bothered with tweeting an apology if similar ignorance had been spewed about former President Barack Obama. They would’ve issued a pink slip.

But the tweet that got my attention and made me laugh is one by the race-fixated media outlet, The Root: “ESPN’s reprimand for Jemele Hill proves what we already knew: white supremacy controls the media industry.” The (largely fake news) outlet was launched by the Washington Post, which was owned by a white man, Donald E. Graham. The Root was then, briefly, owned by another white man, Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos. Then, it was purchased by Univision, founded by a white man (former CEO and Chair of the Board, Jerry Perenchio), and currently run by CEO, Randy Falco, who happens to be white. I don’t recall The Root ever complaining about those “supremacists”. (For that matter, Jemele Hill hasn’t decried the fact that ESPN’s parent company’s entire executive management team is…white! Disney’s all about “diversity”, right? Selective faux indignation…it’s a liberal thing.)

"Woke" by The Radiance FoundationI can’t fathom the oppression! To have billionaire white men make your African-American “news” outlet possible. I can’t imagine the white supremacist control they must exert for The Root to publish these words about the majority of caucasian women in America: “Because 53 percent of white women decided to turn their collective backs on America, Donald Trump is in office, and since then, I haven’t been able to figure out which side is up anymore.”

Nope. That’s not racist at all. That’s just being woke, I guess.

Oh, and of course The Root praises and defends the leading killerof black lives—Planned Parenthood. It’s only the present-day example of systemic racism—a billion-dollar, government-funded entity that disproportionately kills black babies at rates five times higher than the majority population. Oh, wait…and then they call it “reproductive justice”! If you’re praising the fact that more black babies are aborted than born alive (as in NYC, home of Planned Parenthood), the problem isn’t any alleged white supremacy in the White House.

So, thank you so-called “progressives” for showing America how you simply want to weaponize racism, not defeat it.

And to the White House, don’t hold your breath for Jemele Hill, or other activists like her, to be fired. I’m no fan of terminating employees because they express a political opinion (a la Google). Although, where do we draw that line? Sexism gets people fired. Faith gets people fired (just ask former Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran). Trans memes get people fired. If Hill chanted a #BlackLivesMatter line, like “Pigs in a blanket, fry ‘em up like bacon” or opined (like a BLM leader in Canada did) about how the white race could be “wiped out,” would that be a “fireable offense”?

Nah. ESPN would probably give her the next Arthur Ashe Courage Award.

  1. And all the chorus shouted AMEN! As noted, the “true genocide” being perpetrated on the black communities is by the likes of Planned Parenthood, and black on black murders in cities such as Chicago. The “kneeling former QB,” and those imitating or supporting him, are delusionally focusing their grievances on an inconsequential impact on the black community. There is only one or two reasons America’s black population has stagnated at 12-13% over the past fifty odd years, and neither of them have anything to do with the police!
