Hillary Clinton made a confession of sorts on Sunday morning.
She acknowledges that a voiceless and vulnerable unborn baby is a person. She obviously must have believed the child she carried was a person before birth and now believes the child growing in her daughter’s womb is a person. But she also claimed the unborn have no constitutional rights.
“Now that doesn’t mean that we don’t do everything we possibly can in the vast majority of instances to, you know, help a mother who is carrying a child and wants to make sure that child will be healthy, to have appropriate medical support.”
So in Clinton’s mind, unborn people don’t have a right to live until after they’re born? Voters who call themselves Christians support this woman.
Naturally, Planned Parenthood doesn’t want unborn babies humanized. Employee Diana Arellano said Clinton “further stigmatizes” killing the unborn by calling the baby a person. Abortion is easier to sell if everyone involved thinks of the baby as an “it,” a mere clump of cells, a potential person, to be scraped out of the womb for convenience.
Newsbusters called Clinton’s remarks “damning” and made a prediction:
“Mrs. Clinton’s gaffe in acknowledging that an unborn child is indeed a person — as seen above, it’s leftist heresy — is deserving of at least as much attention as Donald Trump’s apparently infinitely flexible positions on the issue during the past week. But it’s not getting any from the nation’s two primary news gatekeepers. Searches on ‘Hillary person’ (not in quotes) at the Associated Press’s main national site, its ‘Big Story’ site, and at the New York Times all came up devoid of any reference to her comment.”
Has Newsbusters’ prediction come true?
