You Won’t Believe Why This Trump-Hating Editor Was Suspended

TrumpriotsHating Donald Trump is one thing. Encouraging Trump haters to riot, which inevitably leads to violence, is too much.

The leftist news site Vox.com apparently agreed. The powers that be suspended deputy editor Emmett Rensin for these and other tweets:

From the Washington Times:

Vox editor-in-chief Ezra Klein said in a statement that Mr. Rensin’s conduct “violated Vox’s standards and Emmett has been suspended as a consequence.”

“We at Vox do not take institutional positions on most questions, and we encourage our writers to debate and disagree,” Mr. Klein said. “But direct encouragement of riots crosses a line between expressing a contrary opinion and directly encouraging dangerous, illegal activity.”

Dr. Ben Carson warned back in March that protesters might get worse at Trump rallies after anti-Trump rioters shut down a Chicago rally. (See San JoseAlbuquerque…)

“If the protesters continue with their Alinsky-ite tactics, there is a real possibility of escalation because those who are the victims of them have two choices: they can submit to them and meekly just do whatever those protesters want them to do, or they can fight back. And if they decide to fight back, there could be an escalation.”

Such tactics interfere with Trump’s and his supporters’ rights to free speech.
